"Wedding Room" At Ventura County Government Center To Be Named After Mark Lunn

     Ventura County Clerk-Recorder, and Registrar of Voters Mark Lunn will be honored Thursday for his more than half century of public service.

     Lunn is retiring after several decades in both law enforcement and then as Ventura County Clerk-Recorder, Registrar of Voters.

     That position, by the way, includes marrying people at the County Government Center in Ventura.

     In 2015, it was Lunn's vision that lead to the Wedding Room being created.

     As part of an event honoring Lunn and his years of public service, including presiding over those marriages, the Ventura County Board of Supervisors recently voted unanimously to dedicate that room as the Mark A. Lunn Wedding Room.
