Ventura County Sheriff's Office Investigates Shooting In Saticoy

     The Ventura County Sheriff's Major Crimes Bureau is investigating a shooting in Saticoy Saturday night.

     Captain Cyrus Zadeh tells KVTA News they received several 9-1-1 calls around 7:30 PM of a shooting in the area of Nardo Street and Campanula Avenue in the unincorporated area near Ventura.

     He says when deputies and other first responders arrived on scene they found a 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.

     The victim was taken to the hospital and Zadeh says he is expected to survive.

     No word yet regarding a suspect or motive for the shooting.
