Stawberries Continue Their 20-Year Reign As Ventura County's Top Crop

     Strawberries continued a two-decade reign as Ventura County's top crop in 2022 with the total value of all crops in the county increasing by 2% last year to more than $2.1 Billion.

     Strawberries were number one at more than $662 million followed by Avocados at $245 million.

     Then came Lemons at more than $206 million, Nursery Stock at $193 million, and Celery rounding out the top 5 at $127 million.

     The second half of the top ten starts with Raspberries at more than $111 million, Peppers at more than $53 million, Blackberries at almost $45 million, Blueberries at more than $44 million, and rounding out the top ten, Cabbage at more than $40 million.
