Updated--A shocker from Port Hueneme police who now say the March 16, 2024 shooting deaths of a pregnant woman and her husband was a triple homicide.

But they still say there are "no outstanding persons of interest" in the shooting deaths of 21-year-old Eva Berrueto-Gough, her unborn child, and 22-year-old Ethan Gough.

Their bodies were found on the night of March 16th in their residence in the 700 block of East Port Hueneme Road.

Police say the death of Eva and her unborn child were homicides caused by multiple gunshot wounds.

They also say Ethan suffered a gunshot wound to the head and neck and his death was also a homicide.

Initially it was thought this might be a double murder-suicide with Ethan responsible but after an extensive investigation of the scene, autopsy findings, and crime lab testing, it has been determined that his death was also a homicide.

     So who is responsible?

If police know who did it, they're not saying.

There were other people in the home at the time who fled and reported the incident to police.

But police have never indicated any suspicion about those individuals.
