101 Freeway From Ventura To Conejo Grade To Undergo Repaving Project

     A year-long $10 million repaving project is about to get underway for the 101 Freeway between Ventura and the Conejo Grade.

     It will include intermittent ramp and lane closures on the 101 between the 126 in Ventura and Camarillo Springs Road.

     Completion is not expected until fall of next year.

     The project involves asphalt resurfacing known as slurry seal and installation of those "Wrong Way" retro-reflective pavement markers and slab replacements where needed.

     General work hours will be from 7 PM to 6 AM excluding holidays.
