Jury In Trial Of Man Accused In Several Sexually Related Crimes In Ventura County Gets Read-Back Of Testimony

     Updated--The jury in the trial of a man charged in connection with several sexually related and other crimes in Ventura County asked for an received a read-back of testimony of a couple of witnesses Monday and they continued their deliberations.

     41-year-old Edgar Rodriguez Ruelas of Woodland Hills is facing five felony charges and 21 special allegations in connection with alleged sexual assaults and attempted sexual assaults of women during residential burglaries in Ventura and Thousand Oaks.

     He is also accused of an attempt to grab a teenage girl on a hiking trail in Thousand Oaks in 2020.

     She managed to break away and escape.
