Westlake High School Makes It Four In A Row At The Ventura County Academic Decathlon

Westlake High School, for the fourth time in a row, was the overall winner of the 2024 Ventura County Academic Decathlon.
Channel Islands High was in second place and Thousand Oaks High was third.
Westlake and Channel Islands tied in the "Super Quiz" competition.
The winners were announced Tuesday night in Camarillo.
In addition to Westlake, Channel Islands, and Thousand Oaks, the other schools that took part in this year's competition were Camarillo, Fillmore, La Reina, Pacifica, and Royal.
This year's theme was "Technology and Humanity."
Westlake will now go on to the statewide competition.
Teams from Ventura County have made it to the national competition six times, coming in first four times.
