Updated--The Ventura Police Department's Major Crimes Bureau has arrested two male juveniles in connection with the April 11th homicide near the restrooms at Surfer's Point.
They say a 17-year-old Ventura male suspect was arrested for murder this week while already in Juvenile Hall for an unrelated matter.
A 15-year-old Ventura male was arrested for being an accessory after the fact and lodged into juvenile hall.
On the evening of April 11th, officers found the victim, 39-year-old Raymond Morales, suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper torso.
He was rushed to VCMC where he died from his injuries.
Detectives say their investigation determined that Morales was walking to the restroom when he was confronted by the suspects near a picnic table and fatally stabbed.
The two suspects then fled on foot to the public parking lot and left in a vehicle traveling northbound on Figueroa Street.
Detectives said at the time they believed the suspects might be gang members.
