Ventura police say they arrested a man for allegedly brandishing a pellet gun during a road rage incident.
Sunday morning around 11:40 AM officers responded to the area of Telegraph Road and Saticoy Avenue to a report of a man who brandished what at the time was described as a "black semi-automatic style pistol" during a road rage incident.
When they arrived on the scene the suspect was gone but officers were given a description of his vehicle including the license plate.
They say they found the suspect vehicle in the 10200 block of Telephone Road and conducted a high-risk stop.
The driver of the vehicle, its sole occupant, was taken into custody without incident.
A K-9 searched the vehicle and police say found what turned out to be a black pellet gun along with narcotics and other controlled substances (see photo).
Police say they arrested 32-year-old Steven Infante of Ventura for brandishing, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
According to jail records, Infante was cited and released.
