Two People Dead In Oxnard Crash

     Two people are dead in a vehicle crash in Oxnard early Sunday morning.

     Police and firefighters responded to the intersection of Perkins Road and Campbell Way at 3:58 AM Sunday where they found a pickup truck had crashed into some parked vehicles.

    The pickup had been traveling southbound on Perkins Road when it crashed into several unoccupied parked vehicles along the east curb and then flipped on its side.

     Police say that in the 2004 Ford F-150 they found the driver, 21-year-old Jennifer Antillon, and the passenger, 23-year-old Irasema Rodriguez.

     Firefighters attempted to extricate the two young women from the vehicle and start life-saving measures, but they were declared dead at the scene.

     Police suspect that alcohol was a factor in the crash but the investigation is continuing.
