Two Injured In Small Plane Crash In Camarillo

     A small plane crashed into a field in Camarillo Tuesday afternoon.

     It was reported shortly after 1:15 PM near the water treatment facility off the 100 block of Howard Road.

     That's southeast of Camarillo Airport, roughly halfway between the CSUCI campus the the 101 at the bottom of the Conejo Grade.

     The Ventura County Fire Department says both adult occupants of the plane were taken to VCMC with moderate injuries.

     The aircraft was described as experimental.

     The NTSB will investigate.
