Updated--A teenage girl was rescued Sunday morning after she reportedly became ill while hiking in the hills above Ventura.
Shortly after 11:00 AM Ventura City Medic Engine One along with Airsquad 6 and AMR ambulance responded to west Ventura.
A 13-year-old female had reportedly become ill while hiking in the hills and needed to be rescued.
Airsquad 6 hoisted her up to the hovering copter and then airlifted her to the baseball field near De Anza Middle School where an AMR ambulance was waiting to take her to the hospital.
No details about her illnesses or her condition.
