Simi Semi Parking Problem

A slip with a semi in Simi sent the cab of a big rig into a ditch.
It happened Tuesday morning in a dirt parking lot near the WB 118 west of Erringer Road.
When the driver of the big rig detached the cab from the trailer, the cab rolled down into a ditch and wedged itself in mid air between a wall and a dirt embankment.
The CHP shut down the right lane of the WB 118 in that area for most of the day as they used a heavy duty crane in an effort to lift the cab out of the precarious position.
No one was hurt in the incident.
