The remaining defendants in a deadly Oxnard crime spree have been sentenced.
27-year-old Joel Montijo of Oxnard was sentenced Monday to 35-years-to-life in prison after pleading guilty to Second Degree Murder.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Joseph Martinez of Oxnard received 20-years-eight-months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of Voluntary Manslaughter.
They both also pleaded guilty to several counts of second degree robbery in connection with the series of crimes involving other victims that happened all over Oxnard on the night of May 16, 2017.

Montijo and Martinez had testified against the actual killer, 25-year-old David Flores of Oxnard who was convicted by a jury of two counts of First Degree Murder in the killings of 29-year-old Aaron Austin and 23-year-old Eduardo Leon, both of Oxnard, that happened at separate locations and times that same night.

The robbery charges against all three suspects had to do with several other victims that same night during the crime spree.
Meanwhile, Flores, who did the killings, was sentenced earlier this year to two consecutive terms of life in prison with no chance of parole plus another 70 years behind bars after that.
In other words, Flores will die in prison.
