Red Flag Warning And Public Safety Power Shutoffs Cancelled

Update--The gusty winds with low humidity blew through Ventura County Friday and Saturday with little or no consequence.
By Sunday morning the Red Flag and other wind warnings and advisories had been cancelled.
SCE's Public Safety Power Shutoff notices for Ventura County were also cancelled.
At one point, up to 17,000 SCE customers in Ventura County were given warnings they might be subject to PSPS but none were ever instituted.
There were gusty northeast and east winds with peak gusts between 40-70 mph reported in and around Ventura County (see list at bottom of story).
And firefighters did respond to a few small vegetation fires in and around the county but all were kept small and were handled relatively quickly by firefighters from Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
There were no reports of damage to structures either by the vegetation fires or the wind.
The hot dry winds did raise temperatures and lower humidity.
High temperatures throughout Ventura County were in the '80s on Saturday.
