Update--A Ventura County judge Tuesday sentenced a Port Hueneme man to 325-years-to-life in prison for the extensive sexual abuse of three little girls.
A jury had earlier found 44-year-old Jesus Andrew Sapien guilty of more than a dozen felony counts of lewd acts upon a child.
The jury also found true 65 special allegations including that the victims were under the age of 14, they were vulnerable, and that he took advantage of a position of trust.
In May of 2020, the mother of a six-year-old victim reported the molestation to Port Hueneme police.
Two additional victims came forward with the same allegations.
Sapien had gained access to the victims through a familial relationship.
In addition to the 325 years in prison, Sapien must also register as a sex offender and pay restitution.
At the sentencing hearing Tuesday, victim impact statements were given.
