Point Mugu Air Show This Weekend Will Feature Both The Blue Angels And Thunderbirds

Friday March 17, 2023

The Point Mugu Air Show is back on at Naval Base Ventura County at Point Mugu this weekend with not only the United States Navy's Blue Angels, but also the United States Air Force's Thunderbirds as co-headliners.

It will be the third time America's premier demonstration squadrons have performed at the same public event and the first time at the Point Mugu Air Show.

Both have headlined the show individually in the past.

The Blue Angels fly the F/A-18 Super Hornet while the Thunderbirds fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon.

The two shows attract 100,000 people and also include other air performances and ground-based displays.

There are two shows this weekend, Saturday and Sunday.

The gates open at 8 AM each day.

Parking, admission, and blanket seating are free and there are upgraded preferred seating options available.
