Oxnard Police Seek Public Help In Year-Old Murder Investigation

     It's been 13 months since someone murdered 36-year-old Ronald Apodaca of Oxnard.

     Police say the senseless act of violence happened around 10:17 PM on the night of October 22, 2022 as Apodaca was standing on the sidewalk in the 300 block of Cuesta Del Mar Drive.

     He was shot and died at the scene leaving behind a loving family.

     The Oxnard Police Department's Major Crimes Bureau says they are still actively working new leads in the case but they hope the community will help them solve this crime.

     They are encouraging anyone who might have information that could help them in that effort to contact Detective Meagan Tobey at (805) 385-7755.

     The City of Oxnard offers a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of anyone who commits a homicide in Oxnard.
