Oxnard Police Say Two Gang Members Arrested For Deadly Home Invasion Robbery

Tuesday September 06, 2022

Updated--Oxnard police say they’ve arrested two gang members in connection with a deadly home invasion robbery in which they say a third alleged accomplice, also a gang member, was fatally shot by the homeowner.

The incident happened on June 27th in the 1800 block of Arcadia Street.

Police say that during the home invasion the 43-year-old homeowner fatally shot one of the gang members, 37-year-old Antonia Molina of Oxnard.

The other two gang members took him to the hospital in their vehicle and then fled.

Molina was then transferred to VCMC where he died.

But during the subsequent weeks, police identified the two other gang members and took them into custody in separate incidents, including one a barricade situation at an Oxnard motel.

Both are now in jail being held on high bail and facing a number of charges.

Prosecutors are also looking into whether the homeowner’s action was justifiable homicide.

That homeowner was stabbed during the incident.
