Woman Found Suspiciously Injured In Oxnard Dies

     Updated--Oxnard police say the 32-year-old woman found Monday evening suffering from suspicious injuries has died.

    On Monday around 6:50 PM, officers responded to the 100 block of Mallard Way regarding a female suffering from suspicious injuries.

    She was taken to Saint John's Medical Center where she died Wednesday.

    Her name has not been released yet.

    Oxnard police Major Crimes detectives are now investigating the death along with the Medical Examiner's Office.

    They will not say whether they believe this is a homicide, only a suspicious death, and they are not releasing very much other information.
