Oxnard Man Convicted Of Sexually Abusing Two Little Girls For Years

     A Ventura County jury has convicted an Oxnard man of seven counts of felony child sexual abuse including forcible rape, engaging in sexual intercourse with a child under 10 years old, and continual sexual abuse.

     The jury also found true that 39-year-old Omar Cruz-Hernandez of Oxnard sexually abused two girls, one since she was ten years old, the other since she was seven.

     Prosecutors say he gained access to the victims through a familial relationship.

     Cruz-Hernandez remains in the Ventura County Jail and is being held without chance of bail.

     He is going to be sentenced on August 28th and could face up to 150 years and 8 months to life in prison.
