Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested an Oxnard man for various gun and drug violations plus child endangerment.
They alleged that 31-year-old Omar Macias, who is a convicted felon, was found in possession of guns and illegal drugs at his home in the 700 block of Forest Park Boulevard Wednesday morning.
They say since he is a felon, he cannot possess a gun yet they found two loaded, unregistered handguns in the home where two school-aged children live and have access to them.
In addition, deputies say that they found illegal drugs and evidence of illegal drug sales in the home.
Macias was booked into the Ventura County Jail with bail set at $110,000.
