It's Getting Crowded On The Under $4 A Gallon Bus In Ventura County

     Updated--The number of gasoline stations in Ventura County with pump prices under $4 a gallon continues to grow.

     Tuesday it reached a lucky 7 (lucky for motorists).

     Silvas on Ventura Boulevard in Ventura continues to lead the way with $3.87 a gallon.

     They were followed by two stations at the Oxnard Auto Center, Auto Fuels and Costco, both at $3.89
     Then back to Ventura and Silvas other station on the west side of town on Ventura Avenue with $3.93 a gallon.

     Rounding it out is Reliance on Los Angeles Avenue in Simi Valley, Joe's Gas and Smog on Oxnard Boulevard in Oxnard, and Costco on Park Center Drive in Simi Valley, all at $3.99.

     The interesting thing is when you look at the Triple-A Fuel Gauge Survey for Ventura County, the average price for the cheapest grade of regular has remained pretty much the same for at least a couple of weeks at around $4.53 to $4.55 a gallon.
