Significant Injury In Oxnard House Fire

      One person suffered significant injuries in a residential structure fire in Oxnard Tuesday morning.

      It was reported around 1:20 AM in the 900 block of Douglas Avenue.

      When the first units arrived they found smoke coming from a single story single family home.
      Firefighters were able to knock the fire down relatively quickly.
      It was confined to one room of the home.
      The fire victim, an adult male, was taken to the hospital with significant injuries.
      Their current condition is unknown.
      In addition to that individual, two other people in the house were displaced by the fire as was a dog.
      Investigators from both the Oxnard fire department and police were on scene for several hours looking into the cause of the fire.
