Updated--It has been a deadly Memorial Day weekend on Ventura County roads and highways.

From Friday night through Saturday afternoon, in less than 18 hours, there were three fatal traffic collisions, all being investigated by the CHP.

The first was a fatal traffic collision Friday night around 8:18 PM on the westbound 126 Freeway around 10th Street in Santa Paula.

It involved a 2014 gray Dodge Charger driven by a 52-year-old Ventura man that struck a mountain bike ridden by a 42-year-old Santa Paula man who tried to cross the westbound lanes from the center divider and died at the scene.

Then, around 1:14 PM Saturday afternoon in the Ojai Valley, the CHP says a 50-year-old Ojai woman driving a 2013 BMW westbound on Meiners Road when she entered the intersection with Highway 33 and collided with a 77-year-old Santa Barbara man riding a 2004 Agusta motorcycle northbound on the 33.

The motorcyclist was taken to VCMC where he died.

And then at 2:08 PM Saturday afternoon, the CHP says that a 23-year-old Milpitas man was walking on westbound 126 near Willard Road east of Santa Paula when he was struck by a westbound car driven by a 70-year-old Fillmore man.

The pedestrian died at the scene.

No one has been cited or arrested regarding any of the three fatal collisions.

If you have information that might help the CHP in their investigations into any of the incidents you are asked to call their Ventura office at (805) 662-2640.
