Ventura County authorities say they’ve arrested two San Fernando Valley residents in connection with the sale of both legitimate pharmaceutical pills and other illegal drugs.

The illegal drugs included meth, fentanyl, and heroin.

The investigation included observing street sales in Ventura County and also serving a search warrant at the suspects's residence in the 5300 block of Yarmouth Avenue in Encino.

Detectives say that in the residence they found almost 5800 Xanax pills, about a quarter pound of meth, 2 ounces of fentanyl, 2 ounces of heroin, and an assortment of other drugs including MDMA, Ketamine, and other legitimate pills.

They say one of the two subjects was in the process of trying to destroy several large bags of narcotics when detectives arrived.

Investigators say that the two men, both in their late 20’s, were not only conducting street sales in Ventura County but also using social media platforms to sell the drugs.
