Body Of Missing Boy Found Near Oxnard Beach

     An investigation is underway after the body of a missing boy was found in a wooded area near McGrath State Beach in Oxnard Wednesday.

     The FBI and LAPD are investigating the death of 13-year-old Oscar Omar Hernandez of the San Fernando Valley.

     According to several Los Angeles media organizations, the family confirmed that the body was that of the missing teen.

     He had been reported missing after visiting a friend in Lancaster.

     The cause of death is under investigation.
