Average Ventura County Gasoline Prices Staying Relatively Low As We Head Towards The Labor Day Weekend

     Updated--Gasoline prices should continue to be relatively low in Ventura County as we head towards the Labor Day weekend.

     According to Triple-A's Fuel Gauge Survey, the average price of the cheapest grade of gasoline in the county is around $4.68 a gallon.

     That's 7 cents less than it was a month ago and 68 cents below what it was a year ago.

     It is, however, 7 cents more than the current statewide average in California and $1.33 higher than the current national average.

     As far as Gas Buddy is concerned, there are a number of stations in Ventura County with prices less than $4.20 a gallon.

     The two cheapest at $4.15 a gallon are in Ventura at Sinclair on Harbor Boulevard and 7-Eleven on Harbor Boulevard.

     Both are cash only.

     The next several stations are located in Ventura or Simi Valley at $4.19 a gallon.
