Average Gas Prices In Ventura County Continue To Rise Towards Record Highs

     Update--The average price of gasoline in Ventura County is now just 33 cents less than the all time record high in the county.

     According to this morning's Triple-A Fuel Gauge Survey, the average price is now at $6.11.

     The all time high was $6.44 set almost a year ago on October 5, 2022.

     Average prices in the county have risen by 12 cents in a week and 75 cents in a month.

     They are 27 cents higher than the current statewide average in California and $2.27 more than the current national average.

     Meanwhile, according to Gas Buddy, the cheapest gasoline in Ventura County is still $5.19 at the 7-Eleven on Rancho Conejo Boulevard in Newbury Park.

     That's followed by Joe's on Oxnard Boulevard in Oxnard at $5.55 and Silvas on Ventura Boulevard in Ventura and Conserv Fuel on Hallock Drive in Santa Paula at $5.59 a gallon.

     Finally, Triple-A says diesel fuel in Ventura County is now $6.49 a gallon on average which is just 42 cents below the record high for diesel set in June of last year.
