Friday November 22, 2024
Update--Ventura County will see light showers, on and off, starting Saturday through Monday.
Totals for the three days will be very modest, .25 to 1 inch with a slight chance of more than that in some areas.
The above panel gives you a day to day look at the timing of the rain during the weekend and early next week.
Here is the National Weather Service forecast with links below to keep track of rainfall totals, information from the NWS, and any official information should that become important.
"An approaching front will bring rain to the area as early as today for northern San Luis Obispo Co, spreading through most of the region into Saturday morning.
Expecting mostly light rain with accumulations under 1 inch, except for the Santa Lucia Range and far northwestern San Luis Obispo County which could see totals in the 1-1.5 inch range.
The second period of rain peaks around Monday/Tuesday, and has the potential to bring higher rainfall totals especially for San Luis Obispo County.
Snow levels will be high, with no snow expected for mountains roadways and passes through Saturday night.
Mountain peaks could see a dusting at times.
The main impacts will be wet, slippery roads and an increase in traffic incidents through Saturday night.
Minor impacts are most likely for Monday/Tuesday, but there is still a small chance for heavier rain and more significant impacts."
