Two suspects were arrested following a carjacking in Santa Paula early Wednesday morning.
Santa Paula police say around 2:20 AM officers responded to the 200 block of March Street where a female told them she was sitting in her car when she was confronted by two men.
One of the men brandished what appeared to be a gun and ordered her out of her vehicle.
The suspects then got into the car and they drove off southbound on Dean Drive.
Santa Paula police broadcast a description of the vehicle to other law enforcement agencies and a Ventura County Sheriff's deputy spotted the vehicle in Fillmore just 15 minutes later.
A high risk traffic stop was made on the vehicle in the 800 block of Wileman.
The two suspects were taken into custody and a pellet gun was recovered.
The suspects are identified as 21-year-old Alfredo Duenas of Port Hueneme and 21-year-old Andres Catalan of Santa Paula.
They were both arrested for carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing and were booked into the Ventura County Jail.
No injuries were reported.
