Sunday September 15, 2019

Santa Paula police say Sunday they arrested the driver of a vehicle who managed to get away following a drive by shooting in that city earlier this month.

On September 4th there was a drive by shooting in the 400 block of East Harvard Boulevard.

   No one was reported injured.

Police spotted the suspect vehicle and chased it from Santa Paula to east Ventura where the three suspects in the vehicle tried to flee on foot.

Two of the suspects were caught but the driver got away.

Sunday morning police located the driver at a hotel in the city of Camarillo and took him into custody.

They say the 16-year-old was arrested for attempted murder.
