Santa Paula police say they've arrested a suspect in connection with a series of burglaries at schools, churches, and residences since October.
They allege that 29-year-old Xavier Cardona of Santa Paula burglarized four different locations within the Santa Paula Unified School District.
Police say a search of his home and vehicle turned up laptops and an iPad taken in those break-ins were recovered.
They say officers also found a TV/DVD taken in a burglary at a church pre-school.
They also found a California Driver's license taken in a residential burglary.
Police say that in all, they believe Cardona is responsible for eight burglaries involving several schools, churches, and residences.
Cardona, who was on probation for theft and drug offenses, was arrested in connection with the burglaries and is in the Ventura County Jail with bail set at $115,000.
He is due in court Thursday to be arraigned on the latest charges.
