An Ojai man was killed early Friday morning when his motorcycle was involved in a crash in Carpinteria.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department says that 43-year-old Richard Cramer of Ojai was riding his BMW motorcycle when it collided with a green Ford F150 pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 150 and Via Real in Carpinteria.
Cramer was pronounced dead the scene.
The driver of the pickup, a 47-year-old Oxnard man, was not injured and remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Deputies say Cramer's motorcycle was traveling westbound on Highway 150 and the Ford pickup was turning from Highway 150 onto Via Real when they collided.
No other details were released.
