The Ventura County Sheriff's Department say a man was pistol-whipped and robbed at Camarillo Airport Monday night.
They say it was reported around 9:20 PM at Pleasant Valley Road and Airport Way.
Deputies say the victim, an 18-year-old Camarillo male and a 20-year-old Oxnard male who know each other were sitting in the 18-year-old's vehicle.
They say the 20-year-old man pistol-whipped the 18-year-old and then robbed him of his personal property.
The suspect then fled in his own vehicle and was still at large.
The victim was taken to VCMC to be treated for his injuries.
